on paper it looks like they produce about the same hp as the h22a but significantly less torque. so i dont really see the point. just put an h22 in there and if you really wanna have some fun build it with low compression internals and turbo it.

They do well in an Integra, which is 2-300kg lighter than a Prelude...there's nothing worse than having a red hot go, then shifting into a hole of no torque and losing all that momentum.

There's no point being the first to do something if you're second across the finish line.

Actually depending on what you want to do, this is possibly not that bad of an idea.

There is more opportunity to boost with stock internals with a b rather than an h. You could spend the money on a turbo kit for the b and be happy. Or spend the money on the H by getting it bored, sleeved, new pistons, rods, rings, and all that gay ****, plus the turbo.

In that sense it kinda makes sense. Any other time, when your just swapping the B in for ****s and giggles, than its stupid. I have a friend who is building a 500-700 hp GSR right now, and I wouldnt mind sticking his motor in my lude. hehe

Agreed. But all the extra custom fabrication required to get the B to work in side the engine bay would far outweigh any cost benifit of cheaper/more plentiful parts.

true that.. remember some thing thats not meant to be there (b series in ludes) will always cost you much more money because its all custom made. If anything why not boost an h23 or f22?

yeah you were right there is a weight difference but why would you sacrifice almost 35 lbs of torque (that you know we need) for a teeny bit of weight loss of 35 lbs?
