f22b jdm trouble

well long story short i ended up putting a SOHC non vtec jdm f22b in my 95 prelude s and am left with two map sensors one on the fire wall and one on the throttle body which one should i be using and should i be using an accord ecu in the car

i'm pretty sure as long as the ECU is seeing vac from either MAP, it doesn't matter which one you plug in.

i did an f22 swap with the MAP on the TB, but i'm using the one on the firewall just cuz its a bit cleaner, and it's working fine.


you SHOULD use the ECU which belongs to the correct engine.












but isn't the JDM F22b the DOHC non-vtec???

and yes, you can use whichever map you want!

well i ordered a f22a but they send an f22b with a soch non vtec but where should i hook the vac to the firewall sensor up to any open port on the throttle body?

ohhhhhhh, your talking about the F22b2!!!! there's a big, big difference between that and the JDM F22b!!


and yes, any vac line coming off the IM will work.
