hey guys need some advice on boosting

Hey guys, well like the title said, I need some advice on turbos. I have an f22 and I was wondering, what would be better for it....a t3 or a t3t4 or a skyline turbo? I know im gonna have to tune it, and I'll probably rebuild it too. But just let me know what ya think.

thanks

Re: hey guys need some advice on boosting

Even letting us know your budget and goal (DD, weekend driver, etc) helps us give advice more prevalent to you. I hope you've read the Forced Induction stickies too.

For my commentary, the f22 is a good engine to turbo, that or a frankenstein with a f22 block. Saves you from shelling out to sleeve the thing. I have a h23 but if I could trade it for a h23 head/f22 block I'd do it. If anything goes wrong there's no bank-breaking repairs either. One often overlooked thing I'd probably do is upgrade your brakes. Everyone thinks to upgrade torque and hp but few think of the usefulness of increased braking power. Throwing on the braking system from a VTEC or the Vigor would be a good idea. Hell there's even a writeup available in the DIY section. If I wasn't such a newb about car work I'd probably do it. Sorry for the tangent...
