Icon5 what do you u guys recommend (detailed post)

ok so heres the story:
got my prelude in march and it had a few probs i didnt kno of. the inspection sticker was wrong so i took to inspection and it didnt pass cause of a hole in muffler. got that repaired =] but yesterday it didnt pass cause of high emissions.

took it to the guy i bought it from and he said he would get it inspected and passed so im leaving it to him tomorrow.

now my question is: should i get a tune up (i think its $250) on the car to make sure its good or should i get a new o2 sensor since the car is using a lot of gas? or what would u guys recommend since its using like $20 of gas every 2 days.

also i calculated to be getting 19 miles per gallon on highway and city mixed driving. is that what it should be???

thanx in advance

your from south jerz right? if you were closer to me up north, i could get you a sticker regardless of passing emissions or not

a tune-up is ALWAYS a good idea, and if you can do an o2 sensor as well you should def notice better gas mileage.

i was only getting THAT bad gas mileage, boosted, with an entire snowboard roof rack on the top, and was getting 19-21mpg. w/o the roof rack i get 21-24mpg, so yours could still use some improving
