Still working on turbo build.

I was lurking at other like posts for a few days, and I saw some one post a site with ECUS. i was talking to my 240 people and asking about low boost and stuff like that.

all i need is:
fuel injectors
ECU
the turbo kit to be put on again, and a new boost controller,
i saw twokecoupe posting about the guys f22 build, with 450cc dsm injectors,
someone also posted phearable.net?
i have money to spend again :D!, and im looking at this ECU,

http://www.phearable.net/shoppingcar...vtec-p-31.html

good? and i need some help on the fill in the blanks (literally), about the ordering parameters.
i want to run the standard 6-8lbs on my h22 but i dont wanna be ****ed over on money.

Re: Still working on turbo build.

so, i think i found a kick ass deal for injectors,

1990-1999 Dsm Talon/Eclipse 450cc 4G63 injectors

yes, they are used.
How can i tell by picture, if the condition is alright?

Re: Still working on turbo build.

both kyleB and i have had tremendous success with phearable ECU's. we can highly highly recommend them!!

2-step: mostly preference, but usually its between 35-4500.
conv harness: depends on what year your car is
shiftlight: if you want

everything else is pretty much self-explanatory.

you need to get the injectors flow tested to see if they're in good condition.

Re: Still working on turbo build.

what is shift light?
and, i found better dsm things.

I asked blake 98vtec in message, but have you used these injectors? if so, can you explain how they can be a DIY and how they can fit?
since DSM and JDM are way different, I just wonder how their fuel injectors can fit on an h22a4,

do i need to put anything in the engine details?
and the injector size, do i put the 450cc dsm ****?

Re: Still working on turbo build.

a shift light is exactly what it sounds like...... a light that tells you when you should shift
some people mount external ones which shine in their faces so they're much more noticeable and in your face. but this one simply turns the CEL on.

yup i'm running DSM's right now no problemo. they're a direct swap, they fit right in.

Psi isn't directly related to hp. There's a lot of factors that will dictate power gains.

And anything ELSEEE am i missing? because i have in my head, only ecu and injectors are needed for the low boost, the kit is complete with a manual boost controller, i'm thinking to buy a new one.

thank you all for the help :D!! will have pics soon :D.
yes, that ECU will come with a basemap, then that is the ECU that will get tuned too.
you will also NEED a bigger fuel pump, walbro 255lph. no need for a FPR tho.
like i said, the DSM are a DIRECT fit, pull old ones out, put new ones in. DO NOT bore out the o-rings, they will leak!!
those injectors on ebay are not DSM's, but they should work.

i'm starting to get a bit worried about this "entire turbo kit" tho. you have a link to it?

if you have a budget, boost is NOT for you!!!
turbo'ing is such a big project that something WILL go wrong, i can PROMISE you that. so between that and all the small things that you'll need, you're going to end up spending about 50% more than what you expected.

and if you have a headache from all the research your doing, good. your going to have thousanddsssss of headaches by the time you SHOULD be ready to start ordering parts. i researched a solid year before buying a single part.

Re: Still working on turbo build.

Alright I got that now. injectors im confident in. the ECU i read this on phearable:
Chipped obd1 ecu vehicle plug & play compatibility:
Phearable.net chipped obd1 ecus will plug & play into 92-95 honda/acuras.
Vehicles pre-92 & 96-01 vehicles will require a ecu plug conversion harness to use the ecu.

so, i have a 93 with a 98 h22a4 in it, do i need to buy the conversion?
and the turbo kit was on the car before and done right, and i asked him to pull it off because of this is my first manual, I knew the mechanic for years that i bought the car from and hes full trustworthy haa asians.

let me see if i can find the right fuel pump,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/WALBR...Q5fAccessories

so this fuel pump wont work for the 98?
you are right, but eh i got handed the turbo kit, and im not doing like major ass big stuff, I just want to put the kit to use instead of sitting in my garage, but you are right, it is a headache, but atleast i know what to get.

Re: Still working on turbo build.

ok you got me worried, i was thinking you were eying up those shiitty ass "$799 complete turbo kits" on ebay which.... don't even get me started on.
do you at least have a pic of the turbo, manifold, and wastegate, so we can make sure they're at least good quality products?

those walbro's are pretty much universal fit, so it'll fit yours. also, yours is a 93

and no, you won't need the conversion harness, since both the ECU and the car are OBD1.
