Re: f22 build

Throwing in a h23a1 seems much easier...but here's a site where someone did it themselves. Most g22's seem to be f22 blocks with h22 heads so maybe a g23?

Re: f22 build

Ya urs would be the g23 build. G23 is good for all motor (at least that's what my shop told me) and the g22 (which I have =D) is good for boost. But the shop also said g22 vs G23 differences are in the block not so much the head. As in f23 block vs a f22 block. Motor is def a monster tho. Its a poor mans build but takes a good bit of kno how. Gotta mix n match a lot of parts. If u want an all motor setup tho a lot of guys bore the blocks n use k20 pistons to raise the compression.

Re: f22 build

thanks twok, elude, and diamondlude. I am starting to think that with the g23 build it will be a very low comp motor wich is what i want b cuz im running boost soon hehe. and i would rather have non vtec because i have heard that vtec and boost can counteract against eachother. So a low comp dohc f22 is kinda like a dream engine haha thanks for the help fellas and thanks again twok that guide is wiked! O and twok i was gonna ask u how u mounted ur intercooler like u showed me pic but i am fabbing up brakets or tabs to hold the intercooler pics plz man thanks in advance!!!!

Re: f22 build

Vtec and boost go great together...w/proper tuning. Tuning on any build is a MUST!!! Look @ all the boosted h22s. Granted it may be a lil more work but w/proper tuning vtec n boost is baller lol.
