New pic!!

So it was finally a nice day so I decided to wash my engine bay! I also realize I have way to much wiring and caca everywhere any opinions on what to remove! It is a daily driver and was thinking about removing cruise control. Any opinions would be nice.

Nice, I'd like some of the exterior though. Your car is pretty fresh from what I remember. You ever slap some d's on that bitch?

It looks good man. If I were u I would take out the cruise control and power steering. I've heard alot of ppl like how their car feels after taking out the power steering.

Re: New pic!!

Thats lookin pretty packed man... pretty much like mine. If you wanna clean it up, start by mounting that msd somewhere that isnt just resting on your intake :P

There are a couple threads about simple wire tucks on here, nothing major, but they do help clean it up alot. Good luck man

Like I said, it looks pretty much like mine does :P if you do end up cleaning it up, do a write up so I can do it too :)

Re: New pic!!

Thanks for the comments! I am def going to take out the cc but ify about the power steering due to parallel parking everyday. I've been dying to do a wire tuck but due to working 60 hrs a week and having a 6 month old and spending time with the wifey leaves no room to work on the lude but it will get done.

DJP what do you mean by D's.

had to make clearance for adjustable ball joints. MSD box is also relocated to the interior. passenger side rear panel where the abs computer used to be. dont remove your power steering u will regret it.

Re: New pic!!

thanx guys!! I will try to do a step by step on the abs. I will be keeping the abs master cylinder,so that may be helpful for those that dont want to also swap out the power brake booster and MC. all u have to do is reflare one of the short lines from the MC to the prop valve. I will keep this site updated when I get started.

no powersteering = :-)

keep us updated on the ABS removal!

also, i read why you had those cutouts, but did you HAVE to cut them out??

ALSO, see the upper rad hose connector that connects to the block? (not the thermostat housing) but the one with the sensor.. well can we unplug that sensor? i have a JDM inlet without the port for the connector, and was wondering if i could use that to keep the bay a little cleaner.. input appreciated! =]

and i have a chipped P28.

Re: New pic!!

its a secondary fan switch. it runs the fans after you shut the car down if it is over a certain temp. not sure what temp that is though. I think its like 210 or something. and yes I did HAVE to cut the strut tower. the nut on the top of the adjustable balljoint sit up alot higher than a stock type balljoint. after I installed them I was hearing loud banging on almost all bumps. after a day or so of driving,I looked under the hood and the raised spots were pretty easy to see. made a triangle with a sharpie marker and with an air powered cutter, all good after that. I can go about another inch of drop if i want but I like it where it is.
