1994 prelude dash tweeter replacement

Can anyone recommend a specific replacement part for the dash tweeters, ie one that would require little to no modification of the stock dash mount/enclosure?

Example page of dome tweeter choices from Parts Express
http://www.parts-express.com/wizards...TOKEN=85344058

I'm driving the stock speakers with a Blaupunkt Bahamas MP46 CD Receiver which I used to replace the stock cd/cassette player.

ps this is an Si, meant to put that in the title

Re: 1994 prelude dash tweeter replacement

i have stock tweeters if you would like..

but any tweeter with a screw in the middle of the magnet in the back will work with little to no modification...

if your using stock speakers, then the stock tweets are fine. when/if you upgrade your speakers, a component set up front is the best way to go! just mount the tweeters in the stock location and you are all set!

PM me if you need the OEM tweets.

i changed my tweeters recently and i had to end up buyin oem ones back because the tweeters were over powering the rest of my speakers. U should deff buy a component set-up i hear every works soo much better when u do.

Re: 1994 prelude dash tweeter replacement

I just put the WalMart tweeters in mine and they've sounded just fine. I do have to fade some of the sound to the rear speakers a little bit, but, for $18 for tweeters, I can't complain. I've had the same kind in my Xterra for like 5 years now, haven't had to replace them yet.
