Maybe someone can answer this

So just getting this car I've noticed something that seems a little off on the title of the car it states "1993 Honda SSR" when looking up the car's VIN it states " 1993 Honda Prelude Si". Is this right? Should these be different?

I never heard of it either until I saw the title...it is what it is I'll worry about it or check into it when the more major things are done with it.

Are you sure? I was told it meant nothing. I will be pissed if mine is a salvage.

Re: Maybe someone can answer this

Well I'm going to go ahead and say my dad is right. He has been a mechanic for 30 years and said "I have seen thousands of f*cking titles and salvage titles say SALVAGE REBUILD across the top." Then he showed me one, lol. He doesn't know what SSR means though.

Then why is my American model marked SSR? It's in MPH and was never in Canada to the best of my knowledge. It says "Type Si" on the door jam and everything?
