ok so my hids used to be fine for bout 3 days and got them running but now the driver side looks like whitish yellow now and passenger side is working good at 6000k, i tried wire harness and it didnt change any thing

.. is it bulbs? ballast? or battery? and should i return it? please help me

First thing I'll do is check all the connection and make sure nothing has become loose, but I'm assuming you already did that.

Then I'll try swapping the bulbs from one side to the other. If the driver side still looks yellowish then I'll suspect the ballast is the problem. But if the yellowish colors changes to the passenger side then the bulb is your problem.

And yes try to return them, most of the places that sell HIDs have warranty so I think yours should still be covered.

i had the same problem with one of my kits too. for me it was the bulb. if you got warranty on it might as well use it. but if not just get some bulbs. i'm pretty sure that'll be your problem

i kind of have the same problem with my 8k hids.. they are hardly noticable though.. one has a purplish tint on it and the other one looks regular blue.. its hard to tell so i dont mind it very much

exactly the same as me.
my pass side has purplish tint, while the drivers is blueish

yea if they dont come stock with car then they are but if a cop wants to b a dick he can pull me over cuz of different color lights and tell me to pop the hood and so on and i don't need that right now especially with no job

you may have just poped the fuse for that side. it's happpen to me with my old 3rd gen.it some how get some amps. just to stay light but dim.

they arent illegal if you have projectors in some states.. but in florida theres no problem with having hids in general..

BUT they do still attract attention at night

is the fuse for the headlights under the hood or under the dash?

both fuses were fine ... i bet they just sent me crap bulbs cuz when i got them one of the bulbs wasnt secure with the plastic part so i bet it got messed up in delivery
