turbo question

ok i have my old 4th gen 1993 prelude si sitting in my back yard with a blown motor.... ive decided that i want to buy a jdm h23a from hmotorsonline.com again and then get a cheap-o ebay turbo kit and slap that on there with a few other things (injectors, crower cams, etc)...but the reason the motors blown in the first place is because the usdm ecu from the 93 ran like crap with the jdm motor....i tried using a 92's ecu with it and it ran a lot better but still bad enough to get a very bad knock to the point where it blew...

the 93's ecu was making the car bog out and drive sluggishly and was throwing a knock sensor code and i know it wasnt the knock sensor because there was a brand new knock sensor in it

the 92's ecu make the car run strong but threw a code for no.1 cylinder position

so in other words the p14 ecus run like crap with the jdm engine and i need to use a different , tunable/chipable ecu to turbo it anyway because to my nowledge the p14 is not chip-able....can anyone please tell me what ecu's i can use to be able to run with the jdm motor, keep my dual stage manifold, and be able to be chipped so i can tune it for the turbo?

sorry if i sound stupid or something... this is my first time turbo'ing a car and im still learning about how to do things like this , so can someone please point me in the right direction....thanks

note:im talking about the jdm h23a NON VTEC motor

Re: turbo question

So, you wanna go turbo, huh?

For future reference, it's also stickied at the top of the relevant section. Read it 9 times, memorise all the content, then come back with any questions you still have.
