okay so somehow i cracked my block. (h23) so im going for the h22 swap. i'm assuming i need different engine mounts? and are they welded or do they bolt in?

thank god haha. okay, i'm also going from auto to manual, collecting all the parts as we speak. i've seen people say something about the rear mount possibly needing swapped because the auto and 5spd ones are different? is that true?

I swapped a 00' JDM H22A Euro R into my 92' lude (had the H23). I had to use the drivers' side mount from the H23, they should both (H22, H23) unbolt. I'm not sure what year motor your going to be working with, just thought I'd offer that. Can't offer any opinions on the tranny mount... Which tranny are you putting in? I put the T2W4 LSD in, supposedly the shortest H series tranny Honda made. I very happy with it! Pretty much took care of any understeer (all stock suspension). Keep us posted man!

i'm just running the jdm h22 hydraulic tranny. not sure of the code. im doing the "h22a complete changeover" swap from hmotorsonline.com. it has basically everything i need to do the auto to manual and vtec swap except for the pedal assembly and master cylinder, which i found on ebay for $80.

You will need a manual tranny mount and you will need to drill a hole for the tranny mount to line up correctly.

i might as well ask you since you have the 4ws as well. the power steering rack, will mine work? the steering in that car throws me off when it comes to the swap. it confuses me.

you don't even need to touch the steering rack.

alright thanks guys. this has been helpful so far. i've read a few write ups on this but still have a few questions. i'm sure i'll have more as i get into it too. how many trans mounts are there?

the visible one on the pass side, than the rear motor mount also bolts to the trans as well.
