Re: AC not working... what to do?

Control Unit... Control unit ... COntrol unit....

Follow the guide. I did and I fixed my control unit. I also was fearing the soldering. Guess what - the hardest part for me was getting it back together right. The Cable that controls the mix... HOT to COLD is kinda a BITCH! My 2-cents - be very, very cautious and follow directions regarding not disconnecting it all the way. Worse case senario - you end up like me and have to reach under the dash on passengers side to push lever forward or pull it back... NO BIG deal. It took me about five minutes to do the soldering and I suck at that. All together I spent about 3 hours - but like I mentioned - I buggerred mine up a little.

My 94 Prelude also had aircon problems - a blown fuse was replaced and the aircon came on but just blew hot air. Then it went kaput again. Time to try the soldering fix.
