Re: Springs

I always hear good things about Tein products. A lot of people on here can vouch for them too. Personally I'm looking for tein when I lower my car.

Re: Springs

Also consider Neuspeed and H&R.

H&R Races have a nice drop (1.8") and a high spring rate to match.

Re: Springs

ya im with those guys. Dont buy Skunk 2. There is a shop here that is based on performance and they will order in any type of spring but they refuse to bring in skunk 2. this one guy who was very persistant one day said he really wanted skunk 2 springs because he loves everything else from skunk2 that he bought and he thought it was just rumors that they werent any good. Well the day after he got them installed he went back to that shop and demanded they take them off because they gave him a horrible ride and he just said bottom line that they sucked. I was gonna get some until i heard that..I would go with tein. and a good set of shocks if you dont feel like having to maintain them like you would with a full coil over damper kit. But tein, eibach, tanabe, H&R, Im thinking about ging tien. I have a few friends with preludes and they have either bought tein or tanabe and loves them.

Re: Springs

I recently put on Tein S tech lowering spring with Tokico blue shocks and I really enjoy the ride and the ride height. Definitely not all out race springs but nice and sporty for the street.

steve is right, don't go as low as the sk2's. GREAT spring, just too low.

Re: Springs

Ground Control... I had them on my 5th gen and loved them, plus they're coilovers so you can make the drop whatever you want, and after than definitely H&R. I've heard from a lot of people that tein sucks except for there hi end products like Flex or Mono Flex Coilovers. I've only driven one car with tein springs but I felt the ride on my Prelude was way nicer.

Re: Springs

look into neuspeed sports then. they drop 1.5-1.75".
or H&R sports are 1.3-1.5"

it alllll depends on how low you want to go, and how much you have to spend on springs.
