dont you think thats aittle overkill for a slightly modded h22a???

2 to 2.5 is fine. i wouldn't go any larger.

unless you turbo your lude or do some serious n/a mods.

No I do not, If I could run a dump off my header i would there is no need for any kind of back pressure after the header.

Re: exhaust question

I would base it on price. If your cost is an outrageous difference between 2.5" and 3", just go with the 2.5. If it is not much difference at all, the 3" will be better.

Re: exhaust question

i would say 2.5 should be good unless you plan on turbo/supercharger, but if you got the money go for it.

Re: exhaust question

3" will make more power, but it will be louder. If you dont plan on racing and just want a subtle exhaust go with a mandrel bent 2.5" with a nice muffler or leave your current piping alone and just have the new muffler welded on.

Yeah if you leave it alone. Or you can be smart and do what im going to do....aka make every flange v-band and have a cat and resinator in there. That I can take out and replace with a piece of pipe at the track.
