96 Prelude Bumper Question

I have a 96 Prelude that I am fixing up. I am getting a new bumper, bumper cover and a driver side fender. What I need to know is other than the normal bolts what do I need. Not sure if there are any clips or anything. Also not sure where to get them if I do need them. Please help.........

Re: 96 Prelude Bumper Question

if by "a bitch" you mean 5 plastic screws on the top which are clearly visible, one at each corner of the wheel well screwing into the fender, and 4 more plastic screws holding it onto the lower splash shield, then yea its a reallll bitch...

not really when u have stupid old HID's with ballasts the size of ur fist.

Oh wait u have tiny hands, my bad.

And to do it right theres 9 plastic clips and 2 more to hold up the sides. U have to take off the bumper beam to get the plastic clips into it so the bumper doesnt stick out the sides and look dumb. And then put the bumper attached to the bumper beam back on with the bumper, and then re-attach all ur signal bull****.

Re: 96 Prelude Bumper Question

yea i fit it w/ the entire bumper support but in order to not trim any of the METAL support i had to trim a shiiitttloaddd from my bumper, and the pull the bumper over/around the IC/piping distorts it so none of the screws underneath line up.

w/e, its mad convenient taking the bumper off in literally a minute, especially when the IC pipes blow off hehehehehee
