weird problems

this morning i was droping my cousin off at school and on the way home it started to bogg down badly under 3 grand rpms sounded like a misfire but i shut the car of for a second started it back up and then it didnt do it anymore it has done it was to me before a long long time ago (last fall) any help????

really so you think it the filter plugged and also i forgot to mention that my air/fuel ratio gauge kicked over to lean and would barely come on even

Yeah that could be it and check the IACV to maybe. Some one with more knowledge should be on later and tell you exatly whats up im sure.

IACV = Idle air control valve, it is on the front of the intake manifold and has two coolant lines. Everyone calls it an IACV but Honda calls it an EACV = Electronic air control valve, just fyi.

Hmm, didnt see the post where you said it was running lean when that happened. Could be so many problems but it will be hard to detect if it is intermittent. Some problems that it could be are: blockage in fuel line, blockage in fuel filter, faulty FPR. I guess it could be fuel pump also but fuel pumps usually go out all at once.

if his filter plugged then his AFR gauge wouldve said pig rich. Maybe there was a bubble or 2 or a clog in ur fuel line

Maybe air filter, but fuel filter?? I would think no fuel = lean.

ok so you think i should check fuel filter problem is i cant do any of this work cause no heated garage and i live in mn and big snow storm today but it hasnt done it since
