Rear bumper falling

The passanger side of the rear bumper keeps coming down. I know there is a black plastic piece that goes between the bumper plastic piece to hold it up plus a bolt, but the plastic piece on my bumper is torn in half. How can I get it to stay up? I tried that as seen on tv **** thats supposed to hold a whopping 300lbs, but that didn't work at all. lol

Thanks.

Re: Rear bumper falling

can you use a washer to hold it so the bolt doesn't slip through the tear on the bumper?

Re: Rear bumper falling

You should just replace it. I know where there is a 4th gen bumper for sale (cough cough). Try the washer, it'll work

Re: Rear bumper falling

Nope, cuz the space is limited and the biggest washer that will fit isn't wide enough to cover it or something like that, but I remember I spent quite awhile trying different washer and bolt sizes. What about that JD weld or whatever it is. And I don't really want to buy an entire new bumper just cuz one tiny little loop is ****ed.

I'm not too sure if that's possible, but if I remember I'll take a look at it later. Thanks for the help
