el gauge issue

Ok most of you know that I put in el's a long time ago and put the 92 fog light plug on to the 95 harness. Well for some reason (and ive tried different clusters) the blinker indacators act funny. When its cold out side the indactors will stay lit until you turn on the blinkers. Then whatever blinker you use will flash. But as soon as the car warms up inside they turn off, but when you use the blinkers both of the indacators flash lightly. Im stumped on this one and I am damn good at wiring.

Oh and one more thing there is a two pin plug at the pass side of the 95 dash harness that doesnt plug into anything on the 92 harness. What is it for?

Re: el gauge issue

You need to ground the black wire from the 2 wire plug.

Re: el gauge issue

yeah, that extra plug is for the interlock system since it's different in 92-93 as opposed to 94-96. Ground that one wire and you're good. If you just did wire splicing, make sure you get the constant from your radio or somewhere else with a fuse between. That way your mileage won't reset.
