Shifting in the Automatic.

Now this hasn't really bothered me that much in the past, but it's starting to bother the hell outta me lately...and I wanna know why this happens.

When I have the gas to the floor, and the transmission is shifting..I notice that when it gets into 3rd gear and I put my foot down to the floor again, it'll shift into 4th almost a second after it shifts into 3rd. The RPMs won't even go up but by about 100. I feel like I'm losing speed because of it.

Anyone know what I'm talkin about? If not then I can make a vid of it later so you can see it.

Does it only go it when ya got it floored? What about 1/2 way or 3/4 same thing? Kick down cable or w/e the 4th gen use would be my guess?

It does it either way, it just shifts really early.

Re: Shifting in the Automatic.

Is the auto tranny kick down cable hooked up to the throttle body under where the throttle cable hooks up?
