Re: cat ?

If it says it's supposed to fit an H23, then it will. However, if you have a "custom" exhaust, you should expect to run into problems like these. Go talk to an exhaust shop about making an extension for your car so that it'll fit or something.

Re: cat ?

That...or have an exhaust shop weld a bung in for it. I've been running a test pipe (I.E. - No O2 Sensor) for over a year with no problems. Supposedly a faulty/missing O2 sensor will get you ****ty gas mileage, but I can still get ~27 mpg on average.

Re: cat ?

i am going to assume it is a test pipe already. How much did it cost you? that will clear it up real quick. If it is less than around $150-$200 brand new, there is a reason why there is no hole for the O2 sensor...it wouldnt matter if it was screwed in or not. You would still throw the CEL b/c it is not an actual catalytic converter.

Re: cat ?

are you required to have an o2 sensor...i mean by law or do you just want it....you might be able to bypass it but im guessing you want to get a good cat.

my mistake, I was thinking Hi-Flow cats. an OEM cat isn't as expensive. A muffler shop should be able to hook you up easily and cheaply I would think.

Re: cat ?

It depends on what state you live in. In Illinois we don't have emissions testing, so I just run a testpipe (I.E. - no 02 sensor).
