Re: upgrading odo (possible??)

your wanting to do an EL (Electro Luminescent) gauge conversion. here is a write-up for converting it: http://preludezone.com/showthread.php?t=1694

and just find a 94-96 vtec cluster and they should have them. look on line, ebay and in junkyards. you should be able to find one fairly easy.

Re: upgrading odo (possible??)

it'll save you some hassle if you can find the dash harness for the cluster too. Especially if your not good at splicing wires in a tight spot.

Re: upgrading odo (possible??)

if you want to do it right id get the one that comes with everything. that way you have the smoke lense that goes over everything, plus if you f*** up on something you got spare parts or you could sell them if you dont need 'em.

also send him a question if he has the wiring harness sense he said hes parting out his car. he may even include it in the sale.

Re: upgrading odo (possible??)

is your srs light on now? or are you asking if doing the swap will throw the srs light?

if everything is in good working order (which it apears it is) then $150 for everything is a really good deal. especially if he includes the wiring harness. make sure you ask him about the harness cuz it will make your life a whole lot easier when you sit down to do it.
