You can use the tranny, and the shifter and linkage from the accord. Not the clutch hard lines or pedal assembly. I thought I sent you a PM with a swap guide..... maybe not

Flywheel will work, VSS will work. Buy the clutch master and slave new, its only about 45 bucks and that is money well spent.

ah for some reason i thought they would be more expensive than that...where did you source the clutch lines from? and if i remember correctly you said the axels will work too...so basically the only things that are not interchangeable are the pedals and the clutch line? Where did you manage to get ahold of a pedal assembley? and just offhand...why didnt the one out of the accord work?

For the master and slave http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACCOR...Q5fAccessories

The axles are different but I am pretty sure they will work but only if you get the intermediate shaft from the accord also.

Pedal assembly=Ebay
Clutch hard line=Junk yard

Why wont what work out of an accord? Pedals mount differently I presume and the hard line follows different contours.

Re: accord tranny parts in 4th gen?

ahh ok...hmm hope i can find the clutch hardline on ebay as well, theres not another manual prelude in a junkyard anywhere out here... and im planning to pretty much take the tranny and everything attached to it sans the engine out of the accord out here, so the intermediate shaft should be coming right along with anyway

Re: accord tranny parts in 4th gen?

alright so...found out i can just rape the brake arm off the accord and throw it in place of my brake arm in the lude currently....so my last question is, will i be able to use the clutch pedal out of the accord? and if not is there any way to modify it? I cant seem to find a clutch pedal assembly anywhere or i wouldnt even bother
