Shifter assembly installation?

Alright i got a h22a 5 spd the right cable snapped cause my friend tried to power shift into reverse
i have the assembly already
i just dont know how to put it in
can anyone help?

i mean the whole assembly the cables and everything

i got the cables off the tranyy and took most everything off in the interior, i just dont know how to get them out of the firewall
theres a rubber thing where the two cables go

that rubber thing is held in by one 10 mm bolt I believe.

if it's the rubber gromet that i have the red arrow pointing to, then yes I believe it is the 2 bolts.

-sorry for the look of the picture, that is from me trying to scan the page in the service manual on my scanner. didn't turn out too well and had to play with it.

well when i did my 5spd swap i also took the heat shield underneath the car above the exhaust off to put all of the assembly in. idk if that helped

yea the exhaust being right under the hole where the cables pass thru is prolly the biggest PITA of the entire job.

im almost done
got the heat shield off had to loosen the cat
got old one out through the firewall
now i have one bolt left thats being a pain
its in the front near the engine bay 10mm bolt

alright the cables are in
i just am at the point putting the cable pins in
theres two of them and i cant seem to get them on
ive tried a lot
is there a certain way these go on
