Centre console switch layout

Hi!
I just bought a 1991 4th gen JDM. (one of the first)
A switch is missing from the centre console next to the ariel/mast switch just behind the hand brake in front section of the rear arm rest.
I thought it was a dimmer switch, however, the connector does not fit(too large) the one which is on my UK spec model and all of the switches I have looked at in breakers are the same.
Can anyone confirm what switch should be located in that position please.
Thanks
Krewz

I need to know as it may be part the problem I have with the temp and fuel guages not illuminating?!?!?

Dearest Camshafted!

Errrrm!

I know the difference between a 3rd gen and a 4th gen my friend!!!

I have owned and driven a 4th gen 2.3 for the last 5 years, which I have extensively modified and loved throughout this time.
I bought this particular 4th gen 2.2 VTEC in December 08 and I can assure you that it looks the same apart from the colour, as my current 4th gen however, as it is JDM, (you know what that is right???), there are minor differences in the specifications.
I am the owner, I have the log book and I LOVE these cars with a passion!

So! Although I appreciate your response, (no I dont actually) trust me when I say the car is a Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC BB1 first registerd 1991 and arrived in UK in 1996!!!

Now, can you help me with the issue regarding switch layout differences in UK spec and JDM and different model variants or what???

So maybe you have learned something here, I hope so!
Let me know if you want to know anything else about these cars!

Pictures are available on request!

Many thanks!!
Krewz
