prelude exhaust

hey guys i found an exhaust for my 95 lude. i already have a header and flexpipe thing. the exhaust that i found includes and aftermarket cat and exhaust all the way back. but the cat doesnt have a spot for the o2 sensor so would that be a problem. im a little new to cars so any help would be appreciated. thanks

Re: prelude exhaust

if you dont install your o2 sensor your car will run rich. this will cause you to get worse gasmileage and over time it might hurt your car. there is a little node that you can buy that you can weld to your exhaust that the o2 sensor hooks up to.

ding ding dinggg. the o2 sensor isn't IN the cat, it's before the cat on the downpipe, after the flex pipe.

Re: prelude exhaust

obd1 preludes have the o2 sensor before the cat..... OBD2 cars have pre-cat and post-cat o2 sensors (in honda's its '96+)
