How to remove Map sensor?

i been trying to figure out how i would remove that 1 screw thats holdin down the map sensor. do i need some kind of special screwdriver to remove it?

i know exactly what your talkin bout, cuz i just changed mine... i had to bend the bracket it sits on to remove it... i dunno what else to tell ya. good luck

x2 on the bending, thats what I had to do.

No, don't use MAF cleaner or any cleaner for that matter on the MAP sensor. It is located on the firewall. And wow holy old thread batman.

hey, at least he searched!

for OBD1 (92-95), the MAP is on the firewall, with one electrical connector and one vacuum hose going to it.
for OBD2 (96+) its on top of the TB
