Classic Car wash broke my turn signal

So I take the car is, and I've only taken the car to a car wash like twice ever, but It has been SO COLD lately I decided I would have them wash it so I didn't freeze.

Well I get in my car and go home when they are done, and the next day I look and I noticed they broke it! WTF! =[

what can I do?

Re: Classic Car wash broke my turn signal

Talk to them and be as nice as you car to see if they will have it fixed for you. Most of the them they have something up that says they are not responsible for thing like that.
If you have to wash and it codl do to a self one.

That's lame bro. See if they'll replace it, because that's BS.

Re: Classic Car wash broke my turn signal

Those car washes always have signs outside before you enter that states that they can't be held liable for any damages. If they don't have that sign then you should be able to get re-imbursed. Good luck

Right and wrong at the same time, they never cover after market parts or antennas. One car wash around here has huge blowers that dry the cars off at the end and they broke my JDM window visors. So I told the mgr and he tried pulling that they were not a stock item, then I showed him the honda and prelude badges on them. He told me to get a price on a new set and he would replace/give me the value for them.

Re: Classic Car wash broke my turn signal

I can someone prove it, since I don't like the turn signals (they are clear) I was trying to sell them on craigslist and as a result I have pics of when they are in tact. They are super high quality to so that is that, I have the receipt from when I went in and then they have the video of my car pulling in, and it is still there. He says that there is a just the day and a half mystery of what I did while I was gone. So I was some what pushy and he told me he would look into it.

since the cover is what broke off he said he would try to fix it, he said that if honda will sell the cover then he will get me the part as part of the customer service, and he said that if it was pricey he would see what would happen.

I'm going to call him back tomorrow, hopefully its good news. =]
