Re: ignition module

Some auto parts stores ( my local NAPA ) tests ignition modules including honda ones. Are you saying the motor isn't even cranking, or just not getting spark?

Re: ignition module

94 with a B20? Weird.... I had that same problem a few times and it turned out to be a bad ground.

Re: ignition module

Iam not getting a spark. Im from england and i think the 2.0i auto was only made for europe??! It is in a friends garage now so im hoping it is something cheap to fix as i have heard replacing the ignition module is an expensive job!

Re: ignition module

There is more than one Honda 2.0 liter engine...we need more details still.

Re: ignition module

Hi everyone. Sorry to come up with a question that is late in time. I know, you've answered this so many times however, im again needing for your attention and assistance. I owned prelude 02 and the Ignition module just took a dump. I purchased spare one from advanced. It was bad out of the box.I was going to have a backup in case the factory one crapped out. Well the second one I got from the parts store doesn't work either. Honda has discontinued the part. I haven't had a chance to find one in a junkyard. The part died and left my stuck 250 miles from home without a spare. I am working on building a conversion harness to run the later model style Honda ignitors, but it would be nice to have access to a spare. What are you guys doing to solve the problems?
