Your thoughts on a Lude for Sale?

A friend of mine has a 95 lude for sale for $3500

Its a (Silver) 95 SI w/ 170,000 miles (original motor and trans)

Body has a couple dents, no big deal

His mother bought it back in 95, preorderd it from Honda and they have had it ever since. She babied it for 8 years, would not go over 4k RPM. My friend has owend it since 2003, and any problem he had with the car, he took it to a Honda Dealer to be repaired, that goes for regular maintenace. He has records for the timing belt done at 150,000 miles and other things. I was wondering if this was a good deal from you lude owners. I dont know much about Honda's, but we just bought a 08 Accord in June and we love it, and I dont see us ever getting another type of car besides a Honda. Wondering what the shelf life of a stock motor is, any body on this forum has a personal experience with there car? Thanks for your time and hopefully this goes my way and from this forum that car has alot of potentional!

Dave

i think you will find that we a have had a lot of personal experiences with our cars. but 3500 sounds a little steep to me. i would over 2800 and go from there. the motor, if everything checks out, should last for every bit of 300k+. i say buy it. it sounds like it could be a decent deal so i say get it. good luck with acquiring the beast and i hope to see you posting up.

welcome to prelude zone btw.
