Re: squeel

Well can you make it squeel buy just revving it? also look at the belts, if they are shinny that means they're glazed over and need to be changed

Re: squeel

windows up or down wont change anything if its coming from the windshield or sunroof.

U cant change the sunroof going forwards or backwards manually?

And maybe it could be sumthing with ur brakes? Maybe ur ebrake is not fully disengaged and its dragging along the rotors? Also check ur tires for flat spots. I know i had sum and when ever i went over 60 id get this loud bass harmonic noise from my tires and it was the flat spots.

if it was the brakes you would smell them. it could possibly be a wheel bearing... jack your car up to get the wheels off the ground and grab the tire and see if it moves back and forth. if there is a huge amount of play in it could be it

i agree though. check the wheel bearings. if you can get it on a lift then check the front by putting it up in the air either dumping the clutch in 1st or put it in drive and put your ear up to the wheel. now be careful not to get too close, you might lose an ear. if you hear any noise at all and it seems to get louder as the wheel spins more than there is your culprit.

Re: squeel

Here's a stupid thought... Do you think it could be your V-tec somehow? Yeah, you probably would hear it at high RPMS at lower speeds if it was a V-Tec problem, but just throwing it out there... Also, I dono how v-tec being faulty would make your car squeak... but yeah.. : D good luck!
