KS problems

today my cel came on,, it displayed 23-- (if i remember correctly it is KS)

and i just replaced it like 4 months ago soo what could i of had done wrong??

what could contribute to it because today is the first time that it came on and only after it got to normal temp. as soon as i turned it off and then back on it went away

ima work on it tnite or tmrow

One suggestion is to go back and make sure that it didn't come loose or anything. I found my ks a few revolutions loose and that's what was causing the cel.

Also, is it a genuine Honda KS? If not, it could just have been a junk one, and you got unlucky.

but why would it be junk even tho its new well 6 months old

I'm not speaking from personal experience, but I've heard of people just say that they picked up a junk aftermarket ks. Not saying that all are junk, but it's possible.

they are very fragile. Harsh bucking of the engine can break the tiny pieces inside the sensor and cause a cel. And when you change your oil, you have to be careful not to hit it.

Yes, that's true too. The metal prongs are uber easy to snap. Like how the tps sensor always ends up broken when you order an engine online, those metal tabs just snap right in half.
