so have any of you guys actually put the staples back into the boot bracket through the boot after you installed it?

because i am finding it really difficult to put them back in, and it seems like the boot is pretty snug anyways/

thanks

you can either hot glue it or line the holes up in the console piece and punch holes through the shift boot to match. than feed some wire through and it'll hold it in place.

you can also use a staple gun but you'll have to bent the end once they are through the plastic.

good luck and post pics when you're done
