Re: Brake Lamp.....

Bump.

Maybe a loose connection, bad ground wire, somethin along those lines. I recommend to everyone getting a multi meter. Test all the wires running to and from the break lamp.

Thanks for the bump.

I did check, everything was in order. I even replaced some fuses and nothing. Any other ideas

Re: Brake Lamp.....

some accords had a problem with the float attached to the brake resevoir cap becoming saturated with sluid and tripping that light accidently. check to see if that is hanging up.

Re: Brake Lamp.....

yea its your float hanging up. when you hit the brakes the fluid in the reservior will actually drop a bit. if its been a while since you replaced your pads, this is especially true. the colder temps will do this too. the floats are just very sensative. even with in the recommended range, it will still trip the light. just fill the reservoir up and if it doesn't stop, replace the float.

no offense, but I wouldn't reccomend just putting fluid in there. Thats like solving the symptoms instead of the disease. plus brake fluid itself can be used as an idicator of brake material left on the pads.
