Rack and pinion

I took the rack out and painted the engine bay re-did everything h22 swap blah blah blah anyways i have everything back in and when i put the tie rods in the wheels wont center (go straight) they are both pointing out and when i turn the wheel full lock one wheel is all the way turned in and the other wheel is almost pointing straight is my rack bad now when i took it out i scribed a line for center and never turned the splines or anything im pretty confused about how the thing could not be centered anymore the rack was good before the engine swap and my alignment was good as well

Re: Rack and pinion

let me rephrase a bit i wont be able to drive to get an alignment one wheel is pointing all the way out full lock and the other wheel is pointing straight there is not enough threads in both tie rod ends to straighten both wheels i did an alignment myself about a month before i pulled my turbo f20a engine for the h22
