Re: About to buy this 4th gen...

1000.

I bought mine for 1000 had 180k miles, and it came with rims, subs, exhaust, new strut bar, intake, head unit, and a couple other small things. Only bad thing is mine has MINIMAL rust, and the SRS light is on b/c the airbags were deployed in an accident back in 06 and it never got repaired.

I got a lucky find i guess, but I wouldnt pay more than 1200 max for that. 1000 would be my offer.

*EDIT*
and mine was lowered prior to purchase

Thats what my buddy said. Tell the guy $1000 take it or leave it. Cause it does need some body work, as you can tell in the pictures, most likely a new timing belt. And all that other jazz.

dont move from 1000. Tell him no more. if he wants more then screw it, you can get a better deal. not that I would ever recommend passing up a prelude, but dont get robbed.

$1000 is what I would say too man. That is quite a bit of body work, and with 180K miles on it you know there is some stuff lurkin' haha. Good luck man.

Re: About to buy this 4th gen...

Offer 800 but don't pay more than 1000 because you'll have a lot of work ahead of you to get it back in presentable fashion. Not to mention it has an F22 out of an Accord so not much power "as is." A turbo kit would change all that though, but only after a rebuild. I wouldn't boost an engine with that mileage.
I hope the timing belt has been changed again. Check on that. If it's not, don't pay more than 800.
