Got me a 4th gen with an H-22 Drop, HELP

Hey everyone,
I just got my first car (I'm 17), its a 1994 Prelude with H-22 Engine drop, AEM intake, racing suspension (no coilovers though...).
I bought it off a guy I know from racing in the canyons down here in So Cal for $2,500. It's a pretty sound car, carbon fiber hood, runs well with only 70k on the motor. Needs a paint job pretty bad, but otherwise not bad.

Ok, so basically heres the deal. This is my first car, first stick shift, first old car, first modded car... yeah, you get the picture.
If someone could give me a few Do's and Dont's with my Prelude, as well as the Do's and Don'ts of driving stick, that would be great...
It's my 4th day of owning the car, now I can get from point A to point B w/o stalling usually and grinding gears, but I'm still a bit slow off the clutch and I'm worried I'll burn it up. how much abuse can it take??

Thanks a lot guys, any help would be appreciated.

Vik

Re: Got me a 4th gen with an H-22 Drop, HELP

you want to know how much it can take? hmm...i was in the same situation as you when i got my lude except it was a 5th with a new h22 with 80k on it.

so anyway, i learned stick on it, i reved it like crazy, i drove it hard and fast (thats what she said) anyway, i went all balls out mostly everyday trying to impress the ex girlfriend, trying to be a staten yawo bro, and basically yeah its still holding up 100%, but in all means DO NOT do that stuff, im just telling you im still running it fine after all the abuse i gave it, also for the clutch

like i said i learned stick on it (it was recently changed when i bought the car from original owner), anyway so i learned stick on it, raced on it, tryed doing burnouts (when i was stupid), anyway yeah, well it only blew on me cuz i going at it with a bmw one night...and as an idiot i downshifted wrong a caboom, it sounded like an instant super charger =D

then it died kaboom.................so yeah basically...dont race on it, enjoy your lude, and welcome to the h22 family!

NOW PICS!
