bad pump

my car shure is being eventfull todaywell i finnaly found in the manual where it says the car should have at least 2-3lbs of fuel pressure if the car is turned to the on position and off it should hold something
funny***
because mine 0's out instantly takes way to long to start and dosent run right unless the fuel pressure is jacked way up and run sluggish like a random power loss then its fine, and runs horrible 1/4 mile times....
besides she was talking to me every time she would hit v-t it sounded like hamsters spooling up.

so instead of replacing the pump lets upgrade it.
i need a pump thats going to allow me to at least run a **** load of nitrious through. but more than likely turbo. i can always turn down the fuel pressure while im n/a
i just hate to buy anything thats a stock replacement, i was raised bettern than that. and then buy it to only upgrade it later im loosing money

im dying to ask, is there an adjustable fuel pump out there......
or at least something right in my range....
