Hello and Question

Hi, I am new here.

I am about to purchase a 94 prelude (h23a....gonna change) and well she needs to some TLC.

New bumpers (old and warped), fenders (dented), hood (rusting due to paint chips) one side rocker is gone...(lol).

No big deal, replacing the parts and then getting it painted, after a full exterior and interior dissassmbly for degrease and steam clean.

Then comes the h22 swap...blah blah blah...

The question is.

How can I get decent interior replacement parts. Now I am talking serious parts....like and entire dash and door panels.

Actually those two are it. Honda OEM is ridicolous. 700 for the dash (complete) and 400 per door panel (complete).

Carpet and seats.....too easy, rear seats are coming out and a sub box installed in their stead....(roadster anyone?).

Those two parts should be it as far as me being lost in my project.

Re: Hello and Question

honda is really the only place to get those new from, other than that if you want them for less then your best bet is to cruise you local pull a part and see if you can find one with the dash and door panels in good shape

Re: Hello and Question

Go check the part out section. Other than that, I would say go to honda. If you want to go extreme, buy a parts car in decent condition.

Re: Hello and Question

i saw a full dash on ebay, check there, also hondaparts.com or something similar to that, they should have everything your looking for. You could always wait and find one in excelent condintion with an f22, thats what i did saves myself all the exterior work, and allows me to focus on the engine.

Re: Hello and Question

i've seen dashes on ebay sometimes for 50 bucks...no one ever buys them so you could easily get a deal. your best friends would be a junkyard, ebay, part out section on forums.
