Look What Mr. Marshall found

http://springfield.craigslist.org/cto/838768232.html

the picture is small... but from what i've been told the interior and exterior are perfect... im thinking about either pulling the h23 aprart and building it for boost, or using the head to make a G23... i'll get better pictures when I go pick it up... seems worth 200 bucks to me

Re: Look What Mr. Marshall found

300 is a good price. you can get 200 back out of it from the guages. but you'll want to find out why there is no title first

Re: Look What Mr. Marshall found

A lien just means that he has a loan out on the car and it's not paid in full. When you take out a loan on a car you have to put the bank on as the lienholder so that if you default on the payments, they have the right to come take the car. Once the car is paid in full, the lien comes off and you get your title back from the bank. Done it before, lol.

I don't know why you'd want to sell a car you still owe money on for only $300, cause they can obviously trace the car back to the seller if he sold it considering the bank would still have the title. But yah, theres some weird, stupid and shady sh*t going on.

Re: Look What Mr. Marshall found

funny how everyone just assumes the worst
maybe he's just a faktard and lost it, and too lazy to apply for a new one
or purchased it from an auction or something.
There's a ton of other reasons why it could not have a title.

If someone wants to buy it from him, just pay cash, and don't leave your name.
don't get a title or registration, strip the parts and sell the frame for scrap metal
if there is a defaulted loan on the car, its his problem, not your's, unless you get a bill of sale or something with your name on it hehe

funny how most people actually read everything that was said before posting so that they don't sound silly once they post something stupid that's already been addressed.

edit: Love the Falcon Punch sig though...

^new avatiar i see sig
I do that some times its all good but find out how much is owned on it and see if it worth paying it off aka a few hundred dollars, if not strip the car down part it out and let them hae the shell, then it gets better buy the shell back if you want it call it a day

Do what he said and make sure you have someone drop you off a block away and walk or just take a cab there. That way he has ZERO link back to you!
