Noob Question......

How the hell do you get the headlight assembly off, and the lower side turnsignal light housing. I've been trying to do it all day with out breaking something. Im trying to figure out why my clear corner light aren't working, and i want to black out my headlights, and restore the turn signal housing.

Thanks

Re: Noob Question......

Front bumper has to come off for the headlights to be removed. Not sure about the turn signals, but with the bumper off you'll probably be able to work it out.

Re: Noob Question......

The turn signal should have 2 screws, the first light has to come out to get to the other screw, I for got exactly what comes out first, but it pretty easy to do. After that there are the clips on top of the bumper, Detach the mud flap and slash sheild where they meet the bumper. theres also a blot holding to bumper to the fender. To remove the bumper there should be 8 bolts, 17 mm (i think) that hold the ture bumper on, not the bumper cover. its been a while senice i have taken off my bumper but if your looking to do it next weekend let me know ill take pics when i remove my bumper for painting. If not i remember it being fairly simple.

Re: Noob Question......

bumper AND bumper support gotta come off for the headlights.
bumper signals are held in by one phillips head each. outter signals have the screw on the outside towards the back, inner signals have the screw inside the bumper, inside a white cup thingy.

Re: Noob Question......

You'll find that on many cars you need to go through all that to remove headlights. Not sure why, but it's standard practice industry wide.
