which computer in h22/h23 frankenstein?

So i have been troubleshooting why the vtec isnt working in my car, it has the "frankenstein" swap in it and i have had it for about a month now and the vtec does not work and was wondering if it could be the ecu causing it not to work, i am pretty sure it has the computer out of the h23 in it

H23 ECU cannot control VTEC. You need a h22 ECU. Did you wire vtec in? If not, you need to wire it in as well.

Re: which computer in h22/h23 frankenstein?

Def gonna look into the chipped ecu, i have a buddy who had a h22 and the timing belt broke and it has been sitting for close to 2 years and he is gonna let me snag the ecu out of it, and if that is my problem then i think i will look into one of the chipped ecu's, but if that is not my problem then i need to try and figure out my problem. Does anybody have a wiring diagram that i could use to check my wiring?

Thanks for all the reply's and help

Re: which computer in h22/h23 frankenstein?

Ok so now i have another problem. I come outside from work today and start to head home and pull out on the highway and everytime i would give the car gas it would want to die, kinda like my previous sputtering problem, so i floor it since that is what seemed to solve the problem last time, well this time it pulled hard up to 4500 rpm's and then it almost died kinda like the coil was unplugged, would rev past 45 when sitting still either, so i unplugged the vtec solenoid and now it will run and drive but it is idling at 1800 rpm's. I really need help on this one
