Some Interior Designing

So here is the deal...

My car is MIA for awhile, and I'm saving some cash to pay off all fines, and put my baby into 100% perfect showroom condition (with the exception of some aftermarket goodies)

I have a friend that is getting me an H22 (as I've been talking about a motor swap since I've been on here) and I'm going to start on a rebuild very soon. Hopefully by mid september. In the mean time, I'm looking into spicing up my interior without tearing my wallet in half.

I bought (and installed) a pilot shift knob and carbon fiber look-a-like design shift boot. I just ordered a JDM aftermarket steering wheel + hub adapter today off of ebay. Total between the 2 of them it was only $80 and both look incredible. I have no use for a DVD player or flip out screen. I'm lookin for somethin that says aftermarket, but not rice. Any ideas guys (and girls)?? If possible I'd like a DIY project, and if it hasnt been done before I will do a write up.

Other than reupholstering my own seats, I'm sure there isnt too much I cant do myself. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

And about enough spare parts to build 3 other trucks

"Does this truck make my penis look small?"

*sigh* i had the full CF trim kit all real but the cup holder/ shifter was fake and the thing around the clock. Would really look at a trim kit even just paint all the pies the color you want if you don't want the CF look.

Re: Some Interior Designing

How about an exterior temp gauge and compass.

If your interested I've got an extra unit that I can do a write up on how to get it installed.

Re: Some Interior Designing

Actually I love the temp/compass. The only thing would be that it takes too much room up for such a little mod. That would be a great mode if I could just integrate it into the dash without the area around it.

And stock SI rims are EXTERIOR. Plus I have a great set of light ass OZ racing wheels on my car.

I was thinking more along the lines of interior color and center console mods and stuff like that. The compass/temp gauge was a great idea.

Re: Some Interior Designing

Actually I thought about that. But a lot of the ricer kids around me have that kinda stuff. I'm tryin to stay as far away from rice as possible. I would like a few SMALL accent lights though. I seen a few cig lighters around with a light in them. Small stuff like that wouldnt be bad.

Do any 4g preludes come with leather? I may just buy a set and pay to get them reupholstered.
