Icon5 H22 kits the same as H23?????????

Ok i got big plans for this prelude if this other car doesnt come thru. Im talkin big big plans. Brian Crower Stroker Kits or anyother good brand, Valves, springs, retainers, Valve guides 16 or 20g turbo, and then upgrading to a gt35r possibly. SOOOOOO ive been searching around and all the internals im seeing are for H22 blocks. My block is an H23 OBII. I dont feel like swapping out to an H22 and having to do the ECU and w/e else is involved with it BUT.... I cant seem to find any H23 kits or internals. Now can i use H22 internals or am I just looking for them in the wrong spots? I did a big search and found nottttiiinnggggg. Please help. THANKS!!!!!

Re: H22 kits the same as H23?????????

stroker kits aren't worth the money. you could put that $4-8K somewhere else and have much better results. F23 crank (with rebored main journals) and sleeves come to mind.

and since the H22 and H23 blocks are absolutely identical, you can use any combination of 22 internals in a 23 block, or vice versa.

but of course, any of this will require extensive researching. start reading boiiii

oh, and you know yours truly has some extra H23 blocks laying around that you could use to build on the side *wink wink*

Re: H22 kits the same as H23?????????

here's what you do if you want something that's not so common. h23 frankenstein build

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=510617

BUT, sleeve the block, and go with forged pistons, and a whole valvetrain kit. You will probably have to do some machine work on the head for piston - valve clearance.

Use this website to figure your cr. http://www.zealautowerks.com/hfseries.html

Then turbo it, and have one sweet engine...or go with a g23 build
