Car wont start some times.

I had a problem with my prelude. The car had power but it wouldnt crank over.
I replaced the starter. That didnt work.
Later on to find out that the clutch pedal sensor was bad.
To solve this problem I cut the plug off and connect both wires so there is a connection all the time (dont forget to eletrical tap the wires)
Do realiz ethat when this connection is made the car will start with out the clutch being in so be carful its in nutural or clutch is in.
If this helps any one Let me know!!!!

I think what he is trying to say is his car wouldn't start and he found the problem and did a back door mechanic job on it and now it is fine......right?

Hey man whatever works back door or not it still starts. This actually needs to be performed on cars who's owners want remote start but have 5-speeds. Pretty sure its illegal though as that sensor has become a dot safety requirement; due to mostly the fact of peoples cars would run off on them trying to start with remote starts or a short.
However as for just using electircal tape, not a big fan. I always at least try to shrink wrap my wires, and best case solder and shrink wrap. However if you must pig tail the connection and just use electrical tape, always put a zip tie over the electrical tape. This will prevent the tape from coming off.
Not sure if any of you guys have experinced this before, but electrical tape is notorious for losing its hold on wires. Heat has a huge impact on this. So when you tape something up over time the electrical tape will decay and start to fall off your connections. This will happen just from your car sitting in the sun. And bare connections floating around are bad news. So just wrap a zip tie around it and it wil prevent that from happening.
Just a heads up.
