First and foremost:

How much power you wanna make?

What will it be used for? Daily driver? Drag? Autocross?

Spending limit? (I'm assuming there is none, since it sounds like your going all out)

well uh you won't need a header if you're going to turbo it. so there's something to scratch off the list. also if you're gonna turbo for sure, you'll want a turbo back exhaust.

why dont you wanna sleeve the block? its not too expensive, plus it adds another level of safety to your build.

"enough to be like woa" would prolly be around 300whp, with 350-400 being about the limit you would want on a DD street vehicle, without having traction problems. the build your talkin about should easily handle 4-500 so it should be a VERY reliable setup on the street and track if you choose to.

sleeving an H is about a grand cuz of the FRM cylinder walls. but an F-series is only about $350 cuz of the iron cylinder walls, which already accept forged pistons happily. but sleeving the F isn't necessary if the cylinder walls are in good condition, or if you wanna run like 20+psi. just get the block honed, and the machine shop will tell you what sized pistons to run.

well its not as cut and dry as "only do this if your doing this" and such.
right now you have a VERY solid build, and the only thing holding you back from 600hp is stock sleeves. and since your tearing the entire engine apart to rebuild it, wouldn't you wanna spend the lil extra $$$ now to have the ability to make that much more power?

I think twokexlv6coupe's making sense... I know little about turbo, but I have had a little ecu experience.

my only input is to get the sucker a chipped P28 (or p05/06 converted), and get it on the dyno with some eCtune...

here is what it did for me,

eCtune @ Blueridge Motorsports

but considering all you will do to the engine it will be much more dramatic of a gain (before and after tuning), but I believe it is the best tuning software/rom editor.

The Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion (something like that) Turbo Back exhaust sounds quite nice, this is the exhaust that I want to get when I build up my car
