92 prelude help with idle

Hey guys,
I recently picked up a 92 prelude V-tech H22. It runs like a champ but i have 2 problems, the car seems to stall out some times when its warm (as soon as i push in the clutch) and upon start up untill the car gets warm it idles as 2000 rpms!!!

Any codes? After its warm what does it idle at? While mines warming up its like 1200-1500 rpm, if yours idles high after its warm maybe you got a vacuum leak and its just worse during warm up as its going to idle higher anyways as the car tries to get to operating temperature.

Yeah its throwing a code but who ever did the swap really hid the plug so i cant find it. after its warm idle is about 800 and runs smooth. I have owned the car for less then a week. It didnt start to stall out untill it hit georgia and it was bought in NY. Could tempature change the idle

temperature does change the idle.. but that doesnt seem like that drastic of a change, when the car is running cold it runs the idle up and dumps more fuel to keep everything at operating temperatures because of emissions but like i say if you mean like ambient temp outside its not drastic enough, but if you somehow drove into winter your idle would bump up.
The cars coolant temp definately makes a difference in idle speed.
Find that connector! Figure out your code, I'm gonna bet its emissions related.

-------> vtec <--------- sorry.

you can also adjust your idle speed, too. Yeah, like what sfields said, check the codes...and then you can go from there.

OMG! Do you know if you have the VTECH LS5145 w/ bluetooth capability? If not, you should totally swap it out for 1!

Try adjusting your idle and check to see if you have coolant lines going to your TB/IM. And you should really find that connector or you'll see trouble in the future lol

When it is warmer out do you find it harder to start or just run? if it doesn't start good it could be the main relay needs to be resoldered....but a #1 is GET THAT CEL! You always want to know why that bastard light is on....and sometimes other codes won't even show until you fix the first one(s) it shows.
