Yeah there was alot of sh!t you have to do but the trick is being patient and follow the installation guide. Theres two hoses, I dont really know the names but the thicker one goes on the side of the valve cover and the thinner one in the back goes in back if the throttle body/Intake Manifold. The other ones just replace a couple of hoses running coolant from under the throttle body. It best if you just follow the guide because thats what I did and it wasn't so difficult.

it aint hard at all.
there's only one small one going from the bottom of the resonator up to the IM that you plug off.

then there's the big one that goes from the side of the VC to the intake.

The guide that the intake came with is kinda lacking...has photos and explains what to do...however I end up with more hoses than it tells me what to do with. Tells me to remove the vac hoses from the IAC and remove the unit and the bracket that it is on. Leaving me a forked hose, which I removed and capped off. It also left me with the hose coming up from the resonator, which I removed and set aside.

It said something about draining 1/2 gallon of coolant from the radiator, and water bypass hose...whats the water bypass?

yeah it is kinda lacking true, but I sort of managed to handle it becaude I had no other choice. The coolant and all that bull I didnt do, but what hapeens is that when you disconnect one of the hoses from the IAC, it will drip coolant but I didnt mind. I just cleaned it off.
Heres a couple of pics of mines if it helps..

Here you can see the hose going into the valve cover

You might not see the other hose in this one, but it starts from about where the intake is on its last curve going into the TB. Its a skinny hose that runs to about above where it says PGM-FI

Alright so the coolant isnt gonna spray out then? Thats the only thing I didnt want. I need a new radiator anyway and its been leakin a bit every time I fire her up, so its probablly a bit low as it is, maybe it wont even drip for me. If it does, well thats why u have paper towels in the garage, right?

Gonna be at six flags all day tomorrow, so thursday night I will probably get back under the hood and finish up the job. Then the header goes in this weekend! If I can get those bolts off.

Thanks for the help. If there is anything else, plz let me know. The vac hose that forked into 2 hoses which attached to the IAC, I removed from the TB and capped off. There is another hose which should run from a narrow plastic tube to the intake tube. I have a 4th gen. Slightly different, but I think Its makin more sense now.

if the motor/coolant is cold, than no it won't spray out.

it will if the coolant is warm/hot tho.

Here it is, installed and growlin. I didnt bother with the water bypass...I just cut one of the hoses shorter cuz disconnecting the hoses was a bitch and a half (you can see the short hose in picture 3)

I dont get y its in the engine bay it's sucking in all the hot air from the engine why wouldn't they run the air filter in the hole were there rest of the stock filter was. I took everything off my car the metal hoses air box top and bottom. Doesn't that make sense that way it draws in cold air going between your fender.
