airbag delete?

Ok so I just installed the JDM steering wheel on my lude and got the horns and the cruise control working but I cant seem to figure out how to get the car to think that it has an airbag in it. I read about the hubs that you can buy for the 5g ludes and that you use a resister and a jumper wire but it is a differant setup then the 4g's. Just wanted to know if anyone could tell me how to confuse the computer...

The best way is just to remove the lightbub
Inspection stations dont know the difference.

Orrrr you could just buy a s2k wheel, b/c they are sexy as hell.

And the 4g's original setup is tape wires, so its going to be a little bit more difficult than the 5g's.
And that tape wheel isnt just regular wires n shiit. its actually really dumb. If you did the install yourself than you should be mod-friendly enough to just remove the bulb yourself.

ps. or that could be my drunk talking ...

so first my 4g JDM steering wheel is HOTT!!! in my 4g... so I unplugged the airbag unit and the light still stayed on... Is there a resister inside the airbag unit itself... when u pull off the airbag there are 2 wires going into it. Is there a resister on the otherside? I have played around underthere and found the real wires that connect to the tape wires and I got the horn AND cruise control to work. now it is just a matter of getting the wires jumped...

FInd the plug itself and bend a piece of metal and complete the circuit. Did it on my lawn mower so it wouldnt shut off if i stood up while mowing. Just put electrical tape on it and tuck it away.

on the JDM wheel there is the same cruise control buttons on the right side of the wheel... I pulled the harness off the JDM front clip and followed the SRS harness and found where the horn and CC wires came out if it and it was a direct plug in from the JDM harness and the plug I unplugged from the SRS harness

if there was, your SRS light wouldn't be on.

idk if its as simple as completing the circuit w/ a paper clip, and if it isn't, you need to wire a 2.2 ohm/2 watt resistor in there.

Ok so I did find out that u can just stick a jumper wire in there now I just have to find out which ones are the airbag wires in the wire spool so I can just jump it at the dash harness... I will do a full write up with pics of the install after it is done...
