JDM Headlight Problems

I got a set of JDM headlights a few months ago (haven't really been driving the car untill about a month ago.). When I ordered them I got the H1 to H4 adapter harness for a cleaner install. It seems as though the drivers side bulb keeps blowing out. It's only that side and I'm on my 3rd bulb in 4 weeks (don't drive at night that much). Anybody got some words of advice?

No touching the bulb. The connections must be good cuz as soon as I swap it out it work the first couple times I use them. It eas embarrasing leaving the varsity with only one headlight working. Not to mention worryin about gettin pulled over....

They originally came with some in them. They worked, so i left them alone. I bought an extra pair from Password when I got them. So one of them was the password and the other 2 were whatever was in there when I got them. (When it blew the first time I put 2 new ones in. When the second one went I replaced it with the one that stilll working on the passenger side). For it to be the same side, I think something is amiss somewhere but I figured I'd be blowin fuses instead of bulbs?
